Dr. Padma Mandalapu
Padma Mandalapu MS, MD, FAAP.
I am Dr. Padma Mandalapu. My last name is not as tough as it spells. My little patients call me Dr. Padma and that's fine with me. I am a graduate of K M C Medical College in South India. After a year of internship in S V R R Hospital, Tirupati, India, I landed in Edmonton, Canada to pursue higher studies in Pediatrics. Since my childhood, I had an ambition to become a physician and especially a Pediatrician. My love for kids is beyond words that can explain.
I am a firm believer of breast feeding and spent three years of my life researching on all the good stuff in breast milk. I earned a degree of Masters in Pediatrics from University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. My research work on Novel Immunosuppresant Factor in Colostrum has been patented. I also received the best research award by American Federation for Clinical Research.
To carry on my interests in Pediatrics, I completed a three year Residency Program at State University of New York, Stony Brook, where I was awarded with best resident for Citizenship and Collegiality. After residency, I was in practice at Somers Point for three years after which I decided to start my own. Tender Care Pediatrics was established in 2000 in Galloway Twp. Over the years, we grew from a one doctor practice to a four doctor practice.
About my family, my loving husband Srini is a engineer who works at FAA
Tech. Center. We are blessed with a 20 year old boy, Rithvik and a 15 year old girl, Meena.
I am a loving and caring person and I will reassure you that you will be given the best possible care your child needs.
I thank you for visiting our web site. I assure you that when you walk into my office you are a part of our pediatric family and your child is treated as my own.
